Your brand in this market, without guessing
A region of roughly twenty million people, four languages that are nearly one language, and buying habits that do not match Western Europe. We represent foreign brands entering it — research, positioning, launch and the running afterwards, with one partner instead of five.
Why entries fail
Translated, not adapted
The site gets translated, the campaign gets copied, and nothing lands. What worked at home reads as foreign here, and buyers can tell within a sentence.
No local proof
No local reviews, no local address, no local phone number. In this region that combination reads as a company that might disappear next month.
A distributor left to market alone
You appoint a distributor and assume marketing comes with it. It rarely does, and when it does it is their brand that benefits, not yours.
Paying twice for the learning
An agency in your country bills you to learn a market they do not know. Six months later the knowledge leaves with the account manager.
How we run it
- 01
Market read
What the category looks like here, who is already in it, how they price and how they communicate. Two weeks, delivered as a document rather than a workshop.
- 02
Positioning for this market
What your brand should stand for locally, which is often not what it stands for at home. Written, argued and agreed before anything is designed.
- 03
Local presence
Language versions, a local address and phone, a claimed Maps profile, and the review base that makes a foreign brand credible here.
- 04
Launch and run
Campaigns, content and production on the ground, reported to you monthly in English.
What we cover
- Serbia
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Montenegro
- North Macedonia
- Croatia and Slovenia on request
What we do not cover
Legal and tax registration
You need a local lawyer and accountant. We will tell you that on the first call rather than improvising.
Distribution and logistics
We do not move goods or find warehousing. We can introduce you to people who do.
Hiring your local team
Recruitment is a separate business. We work alongside whoever you hire.
Common questions
Is this the same as hiring a local agency?
Close, with one difference: we work in English, report in English and understand that you are making decisions from another country with incomplete context. A local agency will assume knowledge you do not have.
Do we need a local entity first?
Not to start. Market research, positioning and content can all run before a company exists here. Advertising accounts and a Maps profile eventually need a local presence, and we will tell you when you have reached that point.
How long before we know if it is working?
Three to six months for meaningful signal. The first month is setup, the second produces the first honest data, and by the third you can judge. Anyone promising a verdict sooner is selling optimism.
What does it cost?
The market read is a fixed one-off price. What follows is quoted after it, because until we have read the market we would be guessing. You are not asked to commit to a retainer before seeing the first document.
Can you work with our existing distributor?
Yes, and often that is the arrangement that works. The distributor sells, we handle the brand. It also removes the common problem where the distributor builds their own name using your budget.
