Who processes your data

What we collect

Only what you send us. When you submit a form on this site we receive your name, email address, and whatever else you choose to write — company, country, phone, budget range and your message. We do not collect anything else, and there is no account to create.

Why we process it

To answer your enquiry and, if we work together, to carry out the agreement. That is the legal basis: your request, and the performance of a contract. We do not use your data for anything else, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twelve months. Data related to projects we carried out is kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires, and no longer.

Who it is shared with

Form submissions are delivered through Web3Forms, which passes the message to our email and does not store it. Our email is hosted with a standard provider. Site traffic is measured with Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited — see the section below. We do not sell data, and we do not pass it to advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4, a measurement service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. We use it to understand which pages get read, where visitors arrive from, and what on the site is not working. We do not use it for advertising, remarketing or profiling individuals.

What is collected

• pages opened and how long you stayed on them,
• the page, search or link you arrived from,
• device type, operating system, browser and language,
• approximate location at city or region level, derived from your IP address.

Google Analytics 4 does not record your full IP address — it is truncated before logging and is not stored. We collect no name, email address or anything that identifies you personally, unless you send it to us yourself through a form.

Cookies that are set

• _ga — distinguishes one visitor from another. Expires after two years.
• _ga_W5PD5379VQ — maintains the state of a single visit. Expires after two years.

Separately, two values are kept in your browser's own storage, go nowhere and are not tracking: your language choice and the fact that you dismissed the cookie notice.

Legal basis and international transfer

Processing rests on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and improving it accordingly. Google may process this data outside the European Union under the safeguards it applies, including standard contractual clauses. Google is independently responsible for how it handles data within its own service.

How to turn it off

None of these affect how the site works:

• block or clear third-party cookies in your browser settings,
• installGoogle's Analytics opt-out browser add-on,
• use a browser that blocks measurement scripts by default.

Other embedded services

Video players load only after you click to play, and nothing but a still image is fetched before that. At the point you start a clip, the video provider applies its own policy.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to processing. Write tokontakt@s1.digital and we respond within thirty days. If you are in the European Union, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to project files and client accounts is limited to the people working on the project. We do not store payment card details at any point.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting data we already hold are communicated by email to the clients concerned rather than published quietly.
