Questions we get before the first call
Mostly about money, ownership and the practical business of working with a studio in another country. If yours is not here, ask — we answer in writing, at length, for free.
The basics
What exactly do you do?
Brand identity, websites and online stores, search and AI visibility, paid campaigns, and photo and video production. Four disciplines, one team. We also work white label for agencies, under NDA.
Where are you based?
Belgrade, Serbia, with a second location in Derventa, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Six hours ahead of New York, one hour ahead of London, which means a real overlap with both working days.
Do you work with clients outside the Balkans?
Yes, and increasingly that is most of the work. Design, web, SEO and campaigns travel without friction. Only live streaming is regional, because a crew and cameras do not travel economically.
How do we pay you from the US?
Bank transfer in euros, invoiced from our European entity. One payment before the work starts, one at handover, and a third stage in the middle on bigger projects. A US entity is in progress; dollar invoicing follows once it exists.
What about the time difference?
We work 9:00 to 19:00 Central European Time, which covers the US East Coast morning. Anything sent before your lunch gets an answer the same day. For the West Coast, expect a next-morning reply.
Can you take over an existing brand or site?
Yes. Most of our work is inherited rather than started from nothing. We audit what exists first and tell you honestly whether it is worth building on or whether rebuilding costs less in the long run.
Do we own what you make?
Completely. Source files, code, domains and every account are in your name. If you move to another studio next year, nothing stays behind with us. The only exception is licensed fonts, where you own the licence.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes, and for white label work we sign one before the first file moves. Our name does not appear in the code, the footer or our portfolio, and we do not name the client anywhere.
White label
See the serviceWill the client ever know you exist?
No. We sign an NDA before the first file moves. Our name is not in the code, the footer, or our portfolio. If you need us on a call, we join under your domain and your brand.
How many projects can you take at once?
Two or three. We keep it that low on purpose — it is the reason deadlines hold. If we are full, we say so the same day rather than taking the work and slipping.
What does it cost?
A landing page starts at 950 €, a site up to eight pages at 2,900 €, an online store at 4,500 €, brand identity at 1,800 €. A reserved monthly slot starts at 2,900 €. Fixed before we start.
How fast can you deliver?
A landing page in three to five business days. A site up to eight pages in three to four weeks. A store in five to eight weeks. Identity in two to three weeks. From a complete brief, counted in business days.
How do we pay you?
Bank transfer in euros, invoiced from our European entity. Half at the start, half at handover. Larger projects split into three payments by stage.
What if the client asks for changes after launch?
Bugs are ours for thirty days and cost nothing. New requests are quoted as new work, so your margin stays intact instead of disappearing into free revisions.
Web design
See the serviceWhy work with a studio in Europe instead of a US agency?
Same standard of work, roughly half the price, and a real overlap in working hours. We are six hours ahead of New York and stay reachable into the US morning. The trade-off is that we will not sit in your office.
What does a site cost?
It depends on how many pages, how much of the content we write, and whether you need a store. We quote a fixed number in writing within one business day of seeing the scope, and it does not move unless you change what you asked for. Agencies buying white label capacity have published rates.
How long does it take?
Three to five business days for a landing page, three to four weeks for a site up to eight pages, five to eight weeks for a store. That assumes we have the content and feedback when we need them.
Do we get the files?
Yes, all of them. Source code, Figma files, hosting and domain access. If you move to another agency next year, nothing stays behind with us.
Can you work from our designs?
Yes. Send Figma and we build it as drawn. We will flag anything that will break on mobile or hurt performance, but we will not redesign your work uninvited.
Who writes the content?
We do, as part of the project. You supply the facts, product details and any numbers. We turn that into pages. If you prefer to write it yourself, the price drops.
Branding
See the serviceHow long does brand identity design take?
Two to three weeks from a complete brief for most companies. Add a week if we are also designing packaging or signage. The slow part is usually feedback, not design.
Do we own the logo?
Yes, fully, including vector source files and any commissioned artwork. The only exception is licensed typefaces, where you own the licence rather than the font. We tell you the cost before choosing one.
Can you work from our existing brand?
Often that is the better option. If the mark still holds up, we rebuild the system around it — type, color, applications — for less than a full rebrand and with less disruption to your customers.
What does it cost?
It depends on how many applications you need designed. We quote a fixed price in writing after a short call. Agencies buying identity work white label have published rates.
Who owns the process if we already have a designer?
You do. We can deliver the system and let your designer apply it, which is common with in-house teams. We flag anything that will break, then step back.
Ecommerce
See the serviceShopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify if you want it to just work and do not mind the monthly fee. WooCommerce if you need unusual rules or already run WordPress. We will say which fits after hearing how you sell, not before.
Can you move our existing store?
Yes. Products, customers and order history move across, and we redirect old URLs so you keep the rankings you already have. Migration without redirects is the most common way stores lose traffic overnight.
How long does it take?
Five to eight weeks for most stores. A large catalog or unusual shipping rules add time. We give a fixed date with the quote, not a range that moves.
Do you handle product photography?
Yes, in our own studio. It is usually the single biggest difference between a store that converts and one that does not, and it is the part most businesses postpone.
What does it cost?
It depends on catalog size and how much content we produce. You get a fixed price in writing after a short call. Agencies buying store builds white label have published rates.
How long before we see results?
Technical fixes often show within four to six weeks. Rankings for competitive terms take three to six months of consistent work. We would rather tell you that now than explain it in month two.
Do you guarantee first position?
No, and neither can anyone else. We guarantee the work, the reporting and honesty about what is realistic for your market. Guarantees on rankings usually mean targeting terms nobody searches.
Is SEO better than paid ads?
They do different jobs. Ads bring traffic today and stop when you stop paying. SEO takes months and keeps working afterwards. Most companies need ads first and SEO running underneath.
Our site was built by someone else. Is that a problem?
No. The audit works on any site. Sometimes the finding is that the platform itself caps what is achievable, in which case we say so rather than billing monthly against a ceiling.
What does it cost?
The audit is a fixed one-off price. Monthly work is quoted after it, based on what the audit found. You are not asked to commit to a retainer before seeing the list.
AI visibility
See the serviceWhat is generative engine optimization?
Work that makes AI systems cite your company when they answer a question in your category. Traditional SEO chases a ranking and a click. GEO chases a mention inside the answer, where there may be no click at all.
Is this different from SEO?
It overlaps but the target moved. SEO optimizes for a results page. GEO optimizes for being quoted in a generated answer, which rewards clear structure, specific facts and third-party corroboration more than keyword placement.
Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend us?
No. Nobody can, and anyone who does is guessing. We can show whether you are named today, do the work that makes citation more likely, and measure the change monthly with the same questions.
How long before something changes?
Structured data and content changes can show within weeks because these systems re-crawl often. Building the third-party presence they lean on takes longer, usually a few months.
Where do we start?
With the audit. It is a fixed one-off price and it either shows you are already named, in which case you need less than you thought, or it shows you are missing and exactly where.
Performance marketing
See the serviceHow much should we spend on ads?
Enough for the platform to learn, which in most categories means a few hundred euros a week to start. We will tell you the floor for your market honestly, including when it is above what you had in mind.
Do you take a percentage of ad spend?
No. A flat monthly fee, invoiced separately from spend, which goes directly to Google or Meta. A percentage model rewards us for spending more of your money, which is the wrong incentive.
Why a three month minimum?
The first month is setup and learning, the second is adjustment, and the third is the first month worth judging. Shorter engagements pay for the learning phase and quit before it pays back.
Can you work with our existing account?
Yes, and usually we prefer it. An account with history has data worth keeping. We audit it first and tell you whether it is salvageable or better rebuilt.
Who makes the ad creative?
We do, in our studio. Photography, video and the graphic variants the platforms need. Campaigns fail on weak creative more often than on weak targeting.
Photo & video
See the serviceWhere do you shoot?
In our studio in Belgrade, or on location. For clients abroad, most product work ships to us and comes back with the images. Location work in the US is possible but the travel cost usually outweighs the saving.
How many images come from one day?
It depends on setup complexity. A straightforward product day produces dozens of finished images. A styled food or interior shoot produces fewer but takes longer per frame. We agree the list beforehand so nobody is surprised.
Can we use the material in ads?
Yes, anywhere and indefinitely. Full usage rights are included rather than licensed per placement. If a recognizable model appears, their release covers the same usage.
Do you shoot video and photo on the same day?
Usually yes, and it is the cheapest way to get both. The lighting is largely shared. We plan the shot list so the two do not fight each other for time.
What does it cost?
Quoted per shoot day plus post-production, after we see the shot list. Agencies buying production white label have published rates.
Live streaming
See the serviceDo you travel outside the Balkans?
For streaming, rarely. Crew, cameras and a mixing setup do not travel economically, and a local team will beat us on cost. We cover Serbia, Bosnia and neighbouring countries. For events elsewhere, we can still handle graphics, post-production and the player on your site.
What if the venue internet is weak?
We measure it in advance and tell you what to arrange. Where a fixed line is unreliable we bond mobile connections as backup. This is the single most common reason streams fail and it is entirely preventable.
Which platforms can you stream to?
YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, LinkedIn or a player embedded in your own site, several at once if you want. The site player can be password protected or sell access, which matters when the event is ticketed.
Can viewers pay to watch?
Yes. We build the player into your site with access control or payment, so the stream stays yours rather than sitting on someone else's platform with their advertising around it.
What does it cost?
It depends on camera count, event length and whether graphics and a commentary position are needed. You get a fixed quote after the venue survey, and it includes the recording.
